The HealthMate Plus has the same comprehensive filter technology as the HealthMate, with a special potassium iodide addition to the carbon/zeolite blend. This makes the HealthMate Plus effective at capturing volatile organic compounds (VOCs), like paint and woodworking odors, and particularly efficient with formaldehyde. If you have extreme sensitivities or multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS), the HealthMate Plus can help.
